Baby Cradle

Project Description

This project is the first coursework for the Embedded System Course (ELEC60013), where our team has designed a remarkable smart cradle capable of providing comprehensive care for infants.

Our smart cradle incorporates a range of advanced features to ensure the baby's well-being. It is equipped with temperature sensors that continuously monitor the surrounding environment, ensuring optimal conditions for the baby's comfort. Additionally, sound and movement sensors are integrated to constantly assess the baby's status. If the sensors detect crying, the cradle's actuator is automatically activated, gently swinging the cradle to soothe the baby.

To facilitate seamless monitoring, all the collected data is transmitted to a remote website. Parents can conveniently access this website at any time to stay updated on their baby's condition. Moreover, they have the ability to control the actuator and utilize a loudspeaker to play music for their little one. With a simple command to the website, parents can request the automatic download and playback of specific songs by specifying the desired sound name.
