High Temperature Superconducting Maglev

Project Description

This experiment aims to investigate the flux-pinned force, which enables the levitation of High-Temperature Superconducting (HTS) maglev systems. The experiment includes calibrating the vertical and lateral load characteristic curves under quasi-static conditions. The experimental process involves incrementally adding load to the maglev and utilizing a light placement sensor to continuously measure the vertical and horizontal displacement between the maglev and the magnetic track.

Through this experiment, I have obtained a comprehensive understanding of the mechanism behind HTS maglev systems. It has equipped me with a wealth of knowledge in the field of force analysis and vehicle dynamics. This research experiment has provided me with an invaluable opportunity to actively engage in a complete research study for the first time in my academic journey.
